Project Overview
Smoor- Bean to Bar is envisioned as an immersive chocolate experience café, where design becomes a medium to narrate the journey of chocolate-making. The space unfolds through a series of soft curves and sculptural arches, creating a fluid and inviting spatial flow. A dramatic statement light anchors the experience, while a warm palette of beige and terracotta tones—drawn from the richness of chocolate—envelops the interiors in a cohesive and comforting ambiance. A key design feature is the conceptual “flowing chocolate” element integrated into the flooring, guiding movement and reinforcing the storytelling aspect of the space.
Materiality and detailing further elevate the experience, with patterned fabrics, custom-designed furniture, and carefully curated finishes adding depth and character. The café seamlessly integrates functional zones including a bakery, kitchen, and retail areas, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining visual continuity. Overall, the design strikes a balance between experiential storytelling and commercial functionality, creating a memorable environment that celebrates the art and essence of chocolate.
